Sorry it's been a while since I've posted. I've been bogged down with work. I'm promising myself to try to update more again. I've been kind of hording art work the last while ... some projects I may just wait for the proper moment to post.

What got me steamed was some STOLE his work among other artists.
And published it in a book. All the contact info is fake.
How could anyone do this?

Man I watched the first season of the Wire.. what a awesome series.
D'angelo and Wallace... easily my 2 favorite characters.
For this drawing I didn't exagerate this one as much as my last sketch.
But I had fun drawing D'angelo

First time I saw the afro ninja video I died laughing so hard. I showed it to my buddy Ted... and we died laughing. We go back to work... and then we would snicker some more (we were watching it again at our desks). I can't count how many times I've watched this and I never get tired of laughing from it.

I was notified today, that my entry for the Udon Street Fighter Tribute book was accepted. I'm pretty excited, and honoured. I'm looking forward to see the other entrees. I was also very happy to hear that my good friend Ted Kim of has also had been accepted!

Sorry I've been a little busy of late.
I just got a cintiq been using it a little bit for work. Slowly getting used to it.
As soon as I have time I'll be writing a review and maybe record some doodles.

During Valentines a demo of Patapon for the psp was released. What was I doing... up to my neck in work.. No chocolates, no romantic evening, just work work work.
But I managed to have a moment of rest. And took a evening off.
Usually I hate rhythm games. I have no beat.. its just the person I am. But I love the visuals. Fantastic. It's as alluring as Loco Roco was for me.

I had herd the visuals was from a french artists named Rolito (as soon as I find his personal website I'll post it here). But if you own a psp I say get it!!!! its coming out end of this month.

Paper craft
During the past while I had a little time here and there thinking about how much fun papercraft would be. So i had a few concepts that I sketched out of what it might look like. I was finally able to make a little of time to fully flesh out the look I wanted.

- next I'll have to work out the actual paper folding itself.

Happy Holidays

I wanted to do something a bit fun.
It's a bit of a mix between a nutcracker, lego and some old school robot love.

My good friend Hilary Leung ( of http://1000strangers.com/, and http://www.s4le.com/ ) was very kind to let me borrow his button maker.
It's such a cool machine... so I spent some time making buttons.
here's a pic of what I made.

finished this last nite. Glad I can move on to something new.
I will eventually come back to this one... and modify it. It's more about reconfiguration then it is about the actual rendering.. well I guess you'll see down the road.

I'm aiming to do a xmas pic soon.. hopefully I can finish it in time.

Sorry been busy with work.
I've been working with Jeremy Dimmock (polyestercorp.com) on doing concepts for a Colin Munroe album. There's a photoshoot on weds.

But this is what I've been working on when I havn't been busy.
It's still in progress... but I figure it might be better to post something (so I don't seem so lazy!)
